Mission: Impossible – Another One

I feel like this is a DJ Khaled track because they have made ANOTHER ONE. So, the trailer for the newest addition to the Mission: Impossible franchise is out, it actually looked quite good. When I say it looks quite good, it looks like an action film, that you can grab a bucket of popcorn, a giant Coke (or drink of your choice, I personally go with Fanta) and you enjoy it, then forget about it until you see it on Netflix on one hungover Sunday.

But as history tells us (and the studio executives) lot of people will make that trip to the cinema, to watch a forgettable Mission: Impossible film. The last film, Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, grossed nearly $700,000,000 and that my friends is why we have another one on its way this year.

There are some new faces to the franchise, notably Henry Cavill, who looks like he will be getting his hands dirty – hopefully, better than he did in The Man from U.N.C.L.E. There are also some familiar faces, the ones that have been joining Ethan Hunt since 1996.

The trailer hints, over ominous music, that this will be the last mission – but again, familiar faces have said that since 1996 and when they gross $700,000,000 you can see why they keep accepting those missions.

It is unlikely that Mission: Impossible – Fallout is going to bring anything truly groundbreaking to the franchise, as the story is growing a little predictable with Ethan Hunt. But, on the other hand, you do know what you are getting with Mission: Impossible, now just decide if it is sweet or salted and you’re good to go.

Watch the trailer below and let us know if you will be heading to see Mission: Impossible – Fallout.
