Skepta takes a ride in the eighth generation Rolls-Royce V12 Phantom to mark the launch of the newest Phantom from the luxury car manufacturer. Skepta is a long way from the streets of North London, as he rides through the peaks of the Swiss Alps as the new ambassador for Rolls-Royce.
In the creative video that has been made to showcase the soon to be released Rolls-Royce V12 Phantom VIII, we watch Skepta being chauffeured across Switzerland creating a new track. The new track isn’t a coincidence but more to highlight the features of the Rolls-Royce that enable it to become a rolling recording studio. With 130kg of sound insulation in the eight edition that cancels out the noise outside, making for the quietest ride possible.
You can watch the video below, and imagine yourself as being a North London boy, to an ambassador for a £500,000 Rolls-Royce.
As Skepta and his friend on the ride up the Swiss Alps were not wearing seatbelts, Rolls-Royce has pulled the ad (but you can still watch it below – for now). The pair not wearing seatbelts came under a lot of fire, with Skepta even going on Twitter to show his realisation that buckling up was the smart move.
